On the evening of 25 August 2026, at Hotel Sahara Star in Vile Parle, Mumbai, Elevated India was named for Excellence in Curated Luxury Travel Experiences at the ETNOW.in Business Conclave & Awards 2026, West Edition. Shri Eknath Shinde, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, was present, alongside ministers from the state government and business leaders from across the west of the country.
The conclave runs under the line “where business meets technology”, and sets out to honour organisations redefining the future of business rather than to survey any one industry. That framing is the reason this particular award is worth writing about, and I will come to it. First, thank you — to ETNOW.in, and to everyone who put the evening together.
What this recognition means
I'm accepting this for the whole Elevated India team — because true luxury travel lives in the details, and they're the ones getting them right on the ground.
A curated journey is a promise well kept — by our operations team, led by my co-founder Manu Singh. It's the curators, the guides, the chauffeurs, the concierge — the whole flawless experience, not one part of it. It's the guide who moves the whole plan an hour, because the light will be better.
For all our heritage, inbound travel rarely gets recognised. So when an award points this way, it tells me the conversation is starting.
A beacon of trust
An award for travel given at a travel evening is a trade compliment. The same award given in a room convened to talk about enterprise, infrastructure and technology is a different signal: it places inbound travel inside the conversation about how the country builds value, rather than beside it.
But the part that matters most to us is not the placement. It is what a recognition of this kind actually does for a traveller who has never met us. Indian inbound has long been sold on price, which is the weakest signal a destination can send — and price becomes the default message precisely when quality is hard to predict from outside.
An independent name attached to the curated end of that market is, in plain terms, a beacon of trust. It is someone other than us saying the standard held. That is worth more than any claim we could make on our own behalf, because the thing a traveller is really buying from us is not an itinerary. It is confidence.
Which is the same answer to the second question I was asked that night.
What the modern luxury traveller values most
Certainty.
Everything else they can already buy. What they lack is confidence that it'll happen as promised — that your host is genuinely exceptional, not merely licensed. That somebody answers the phone at three in the morning in Jodhpur.
Because luxury today isn't only about what you're given. It's about what you're spared.
Won on the road
Awards like this aren't won on promises. They're won on a hundred small decisions, made mile after mile, across India.
So this belongs to the people who made those decisions: our curators, our guides, our chauffeurs, our concierge, and the ground operation Manu leads. Thank you.
